Fold down goped handlebars and look at where they hinge, youu should see a small grey peice of plastic in a hole.Tap it out, to do this use a drill bit or something its size and tap it out with a hammer thn you can remove the slide tube. Get some oven cleaner and spray it on to the black part of your slide tube make sure not to get much on the silver part as it discolours the metal(dont worry if you do it polishes out). Leave to sit for 15 minutes while the oven cleaner does its job. When it is finished wipe all the gunk of of your slide tube with some water, You now have a dull silver slide tube. Now for the easy bit take some aluminium polish on a rag and polish away!!!! Wait until it turns black then buff it with a clean cloth(the more you polish the more it shines!!). When you think its good enough put the spring and slide tube on your T bar then tap they grey pin back in. You now have a polished slide tube!!!  Stand back take a photo and send it to us and we'll put it in our gallery.

 

2.How fast is my ped?

  Measure off a known distance on a street (at least 100 feet). 200 or more feet is better and will be more accurate. Mark a start line and a finish line.
Now, get a long running start from further down the street, so you are going FULL SPEED on your ped when you cross the start line.
With a stopwatch, have someone time how long it takes you to travel from the start line to the finish. Let's say it took you 2.7 seconds.
This means that you were going (100 feet / 2.7 seconds) = 37 feet per second.
But how many MPH is that?
There are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour, so there are (60 * 60) = 3600 seconds in an hour.
This means you were going (37 feet/sec * 3600 sec/hour) = 133,200 feet per hour.
Almost there...
There are 5,280 feet in a mile, so you were going (133,200 / 5280) = 25.2 MPH.
